Here are the KS2 results for the last two years for you to see how we compare with the local schools and all schools nationally.

We are pleased  this year to be above the Local Authority and National results in Maths, Writing and Spelling.

We are focusing closely on Reading this year in order to improve reading results.

Thank you for your continued support.

Progress Measures: KS1 to KS2:

The progress measures compare pupils’ Key Stage 2 results to those of other pupils nationally with similar prior attainment at Key Stage 1.

Progress scores are centred around 0, with most schools within the range of -5 to +5.

  • A score of 0 means pupils in this school on average do about as well at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.
  • A positive score means pupils in this school on average do better at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally.
  • A negative score means pupils in this school on average do worse at KS2 as those with similar prior attainment nationally

Average progress in reading          -4.2

Average progress in writing            +0.2

Average progress in mathematics  -1.1

The pupils' marks in the test are converted to a scaled score where 100 is the average score in the country.  All pupils' scores in a school are then averaged to give an overall school scaled score.
