Active Travel Activities

As a school we are commited to helping our children and members of the community become active, develop healthy and sustainable habbits resulting in a lifelong love and engagement in physical activity.

One way we have attempted to achieve this aim is through engaging in the national Modeshift Stars programme. The STARS education scheme recognises schools that have shown excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable and active travel.

On this page you will find lots of fantastic activities, online learning and interactive lessons from the Modeshift STARS team all based around active and sustainable travel.

Please let your teachers know what active travel activities you have completed via SeeSaw or tweet your activities to @apjschool or @SY_STARSawards
