Rotherham Local Offer

The aim of the Local Offer website is to help anyone to easily find information about the services, activities and support available in the local area for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities and their families.

This information also includes health, social care, education, leisure and information from charities and support groups.

We know that education jargon can be tricky to understand. You will be given lots of information about SEND. If there are any words or phrases you aren't sure about, you can click below to download a SEND language glossary. If you need us to, we can print you a copy. If there is anything you still don't feel sure about, please get in touch with school and we can arrange to go through things together.

Rotherham Parents Forum Ltd is a charity led by parents and carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND.) They offer a range of support for parents and carers of SEND children. You can access workshops, peer-support, counselling, resources and activities and meet-ups and networking events.
